Mirassou Pinot Noir is a staple in my house. It's a crowd-pleaser and a steal at $13.95. Hailing from California, this Pinot Noir is rich, but light in body – there’s no heaviness here. It tastes like your grandmother made a fresh batch of strawberry jam, with strawberries picked fresh from the garden and currants added in for a little something extra. There are also notes of cherries and hints of mocha. Mirassou has made a delightfully drinkable red, but it is still complex and layered. This wine is simply too good not to drink all the time.
